Clydesdale Group’s Trading business comprises of both imports and exports. We export our own products, tailored and woven items, to the countries in the region that includes but is not limited to Central Asian countries of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan as well as Pakistan and India. We import a variety of goods and merchandise both for our Logistics business and for the purpose of wholesale in the markets of Afghanistan.

The commodities that we import are first identified and analyzed for their marketability and profitability in the Afghan markets. Once it is established that a certain commodity or a group thereof is demanded, we supply it and present it for general consumption, mostly wholesaled to a variety of retailers and subcontractors in the Kabul area.
In the past, we have imported commodities such as fuel, light equipment and machinery, furniture and household items to name a few.
